Jay and Ernie,

As a fledgling freshman in high school, my daughter was propelled into a GT (gifted/talented) English class with a teacher whose name sent students' faces paleing in fear. As she inventoried feedback about this teacher's reputation for being the hardest teacher on campus, she wanted to bail for another English class.
