Texas Man Receives Longest Ever Online Predator Sentence - News: "An East Texas man will serve a 95-year prison sentence for using the Internet to solicit sex from a child.
It's the longest sentence ever given in a case brought by state officials who investigate online predators.
The Texas Attorney General's Office said the punishment was so severe because Joe Alan Cook, 46, of Longview had two prior convictions in Illinois for burglary and home invasion."
