Usually listen to another station at this time, but they were running a lot of advertisements so I tuned in to you guys and this Pit Bull story.
Boys, you don't know what you're doing. The story of the lady getting mauled is terrible and I am sorry for her and her family, but it could have been a Chow Chow, Rottweiler, mixed breed, Bull Mastiff or any other large dog. They all have to be treated with respect.
I have Boston Terriers, they are small, but they need to be watched also. All dogs do for that matter. If a person buys a car, pistol, computer, or dog, they should have enough sense to understand the traits and characteristics of what they are buying. A prudent person would do that. An idiot wouldn't.
I don't know you guys, but you seem to be terribly P.C. for a Texas talk radio program. You evidently Metro-Males and buy into media hype about Pit Bulls. In the late 70s it was Dobermans, then it was Rottweilers, now it is Pits that should be outlawed by the damn GOVERNMENT! How about guns? Should they be outlawed? Eating at McDonalds and Burger King will make you fat and shorten your life. Should the damn GOVERNMENT outlaw such places? It would be a cause "for the children," right? And auto accidents cause lot's of deaths. Perhaps the damn GOVERNMENT should make us all ride bicycles, and of course it would help with the burger epidemic too. Free speech hurts some people's feelings; thankfully the damn GOVERNMENT is doing something about that. Soon it'll be "double think-double speak." Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy and old Uncle Joe Stalin would just LOVE you boys. Do you understand what I'm saying? NOBODY CAN SAVE YOU FROM YOURSELF AND YOUR BAD DECISIONS. Not a pair of do gooder idiots, and certainly not da govment.
I don't think I'll be listening to you guys again. Laura Ingram has a lot better show and she's a lot smarter then both of you put together.....

Oh that's just brilliant. Listen to 5 minutes of the show and then peg us as though you really know who we are. Then, instead of trying to dialogue about the issue attack us personally. I love it! Is that what you learned from the other station? When you want to have a real honest debate without the attacks we’ll be here waiting for you.

Well guys, isn't that what you were saying about Pits? Weren't you saying that they should be banned? That no one should be permitted to own them...How, by the way, were you going to enforce that? You might be able to use a ticketing scheme in the suburbs, but what about those of us that live in the boondocks, or the folks that live in da hood and el barrios? Are you going to want to pay more taxes to send out the P.C. Police to enforce this "dangerous dog" dream law that you suggest? It sort of reminds me of the gun laws in Canada. The government of Canada outlawed hand guns and naively expected all Canadians to turn them over to be destroyed. It didn't happen. The government took what was expected to cost a few million dollars to melt all those evil guns down, and have gone into the billions to try to find these offending machines. The law is a failure, but the government is still throwing money into it. The same thing is true about a law to get rid of Pit Bulls, it won't work without the co operation of the people....unless you want to go to a police state. By the way, crack cocaine and meth is illegal. I don't think I know any one that uses it, "I'm 55," but I'll bet I could go out and find some by night fall, whataya bet?
Like I said, either you boys are asking for a police state like Stalin's Soviet Union, or you just don't know what you're doing...
