Justice Department Charges 148 Illegal Aliens With Identity Theft -- 01/16/2007: "The Justice Department announced Tuesday that federal identity theft charges have been brought against 148 illegal immigrants accused of stealing the identities of American citizens to get jobs."

it's about time that somebody,ANYBODY is at last going after illegals. They really are guilty of at least 2 crimes, the first being crossing the border illegally, then th ID theft. My only problem is that they will be convicted and sent back to their native country only to come back and do it again!
I agree. It's about time our government starts seeing this as identity theft.
