Fort Worth Man: Cigarette Would Have Ended Standoff - News: "A man who was involved in a six-hour standoff with police said he ran from police because he wanted to make a few phone calls before going to jail.
Harley Graves, in an interview from jail, said he would have surrendered to police much sooner if they had given him just one thing.
'For four hours, I was inside that house and they can't give me a cigarette,' Graves said. 'That's all I was wanting was a cigarette.' "
