Another towing story via email
In 1997, my truck was stolen out of the Home Depot parking lot in Desoto, Texas. Five days latter, I was contacted by the Dallas Police Dept. telling me I could come pick the truck up at the impound yard. When I got to the impound yard, they showed me my stripped and totaled Chevy and said that I needed to arrange for a tow truck to haul it out of there, and that I owed them 267.00. Well I was only 20 years old at the time, and only had liability insurance and could not afford to pay for it to be released. Long story short, Dallas County sold my truck, and there was nothing I could do about it. Love your show, listen all day in Paris, Texas.
